Departures Hall
Kubíček, Ján ; Buchta, Stanislav (referee) ; Bajer, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design and assessment of the supporting steel structure of departures hall for international airport Pardubice. The design is processed in two variants, one of which is selected and further elaborated. The hall contains one-story built for office and comercial use. To obtain the internal forces in the structure, modelling of the hall in the FEM computermodeling software was selected. The thesis includes manual assessment of selected elements and details, the assessment of elements in computational software, drawings and bill of material.
Design of Steel Structure
Svoboda, Radek ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Zídek, Rostislav (advisor)
Topic of the master’s thesis is design and assessment of steel construction of the industrial building used to glass sand treatment. The building has the top view dimensions 12,0 x 12,0 m and roof ridge height 15,6 m. Disposition if the individual elements was designed according to conditions of the technology and production process. The thesis focus on creating of computational model and assessment to ultimate and serviceability limit states of individual elements. Further thesis contains of design and optimisation of some joints.
Stability solution of framed structures
Baxant, Radek ; Brdečko, Luděk (referee) ; Zídek, Rostislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the subject of slenderness bars’ stability assessment, especially in the steel structures. Before the assessment of bars in the frame constructions, we search for the influence of the computational model’s settings on the final result. The initial geometrical imperfections are examined on the model of Euler’s bar. The influence of the rigidity of girders on the poles’ buckling length is examined on the basic frame construction. The buckling lengths are assessed in the comparison with the figures we got from the statistical tables and the computational software. The influence of construction’s initial tilt and its replacement by the system of outer forces is examined on the frame structure. Three-hinged frame structure with variable cross-section member is designed then and the influence of non-linear calculations on the inner forces is studied. In the complex frame assessment, the influence of the number of parts of variable cross-section member on the bars’ buckling length is examined.
